Deodorizing inserts contain microporous Moso bamboo charcoal and minerals. Moso bamboo is extremely porous, forming millions of holes as it densifies and matures. These pores have negative ions which ultimately translate into revolutionary capabilities as a deodorant and dehumidifier.
The negative ionic charge attracts odors, pollutants, allergens and excess moisture. By absorbing moisture and reducing humidity, deodorizing inserts prevent the growth of mold and bacteria.

The deodorizing inserts were developed and tested in Sweden in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology.
