The refreshment bag is manufactured with a patented three-layer anti-odour membrane containing activated moso bamboo charcoal and minerals. Bamboo charcoal is extremely porous and has a negative ionic charge. Through a physical process, it attracts and retains excess moisture and unwanted odors. One gram of charcoal has a surface area of 1000 m2.

Water is reused in the process and it takes less than five years for a seed to mature, so the bamboo will be continuously available for future generations. The refreshment pouch is 100% climate-neutral and contains responsibly sourced Moso bamboo.
